Bunnahabhain 21 Year Old Cask Strength - 2025 Edition
The 2025 edition of Bunnahabhain 21 Year Old Cask Strength is where Jerez meets Islay. Its 21-year maturation began in oloroso sherry casks and ended with a long 21-month finish in hand-selected Pedro Ximénez casks. This brings indulgent layers of sweetness and spice, with the PX's rich, syrupy character weaves seamlessly through the distillery's refined unpeated spirit. The whisky was bottled at 53.1% ABV, cask strength, of course.

Tasting Note by The Producer
Nose
Rich dried fruits, treacle toffee, and brown sugar lead, with hints of walnut, leather and a whisper of coastal clarity.
Palate
Sweet PX-soaked raisins and chocolate cherries lead, with roasted nuts, spiced oak, espresso, and warming cinnamon and clove on the finish.
Finish
Long and warming with dark chocolate, prunes, and a touch of sea spray.
