Check out this wonderful 1997 vintage Bunnahabhain, which has seen over two decades of maturation. Initially it spent its days in a single bourbon hosghead, though it was transferred to a Pomerol wine hogshead from Bordeaux for a finishing period before being bottled. Murray McDavid bottled the Islay whisky for the Mission Gold series at 54.7% ABV, presented in a suitably shiny presentation tube.
