Mòine is a special peated release from the Bunnahabhain distillery selected by master distiller Ian MacMillan for Fèis Ìle 2009. Distilled in 2003, the single malt finished its maturation with a three-month stay in oloroso sherry butts before bottling in 2009. The name is Gaelic for peat, a reference to the high peat levels in this usually unpeated whisky.
