Bunnahabhain 19yo 2001 Bottling Note

This single malt from Bunnahabhain spent 19 years maturing in a single first-fill sherry butt. Just look at that glorious hue. Distilled in 2001, the whisky was independently bottled in 2021, by us, right here at Master of Malt! It's a tough job, but someone's gotta do it. A release of 109 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Chocolate raisins, runny caramel, candied nuts, and a touch of furniture polish.

Palate: Nutty fruit cake with plenty of dates and sultanas, and tangy notes of dried cranberry. Dustings of cocoa follow with hearty baking spice warmth.

Finish: Layers of toffee and sweet malt combine with the seasonal, cakey spice. Prickles of clove and cinnamon creep, with more caramel to keep things balanced.
