Bunnahabhain Whisky Baron Bottling Note

This impressive bottle of Bunnahabhain was distilled back in October 2002, and then spent the next 16 years maturing exclusively in a bourbon hogshead. In March 2019 the single malt was bottled at 51% ABV by The Whisky Baron for the Founder's Collection, with a limited release of 258 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Delicate, sweet and creamy, with lots of vanilla and floral honey, developing into dried apricot and iced buns.

Palate: Victoria vanilla sponge with vanilla cream, with even more prominent floral honey, creamy caramel and peach.

Finish: Juicy apricot bursts onto the finish with very gentle oak spices lingering.
