Bunnahabhain 15 Year Old (cask 3058) Pedro Ximénez Cask Finish - Cask Collection (A. D. Rattray)

Distilled at Bunnahabhain, this single malt was independently bottled by A.D. Rattray for The Octave Project. The Islay whisky was first aged in a bourbon hogshead before it spent a five month finishing period in an Octave cask which previously held Pedro Ximénez sherry. At 15 years old, the liquid was bottled at cask strength, weighing in at 55.1% ABV.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

    Nose

Stewed apple and pear, chocolate marzipan, sultana and a sea breeze.

    Palate

A good helping of oak spice, baking spice and toffee, with warming vanilla chai and raspberry jam.

    Finish

    A fragrant spicy finish.
