SHOCK HORROR a previous one star review
Well shock horror at the one star review
Drinking 6-8 years purchase so a bottle of the new batch to compare No difference for me
It is still Bunny12 which I really like/love can see why it is a favourite
Often get comments of is this Islay from guests expecting some peat/smoke
But smoke heads highlanders others the reaction is always this is good whisky
My experience is tyre flavours are tainting from coffee mouth but what do I know

Bunnahaibhain 12 years old
First tried on the Oban to Mull ferry while it was malt of the month! Been hooked now for ten years!! Great taste, great price 👌

I should have tried the first bottle before buying another two!
I've been drinking single malt whiskies off and on for the last 26 years, and in that time I've never encountered a whisky I didn't like. However, Bunnahabhain 12 year old is the first whisky that I've had difficulty drinking - there is an overwhelming aroma and taste of degrading rubber that masks everything else, save from some sherry in the finish. I offered it to my girlfriend and she said it smelled of inner tubes! I hope the other bottles I have aren't tainted too...

Very nice dram . I'll buy again so suppose that says everything before going into all the flavours etc.
I'm only a novice with the 12 year old malts , I've tried all the obvious ones won't name them ! But this is my favourite upto now 👍 .

A truly unique and very special whisky, if the flavours are your thing.
What single malt whisky is all about; one of the best, in my personal experience. Smoother than other 15 year-olds (sorry, that sounded a bit wrong!), and with a lovely depth of flavour that turns to a peppery finish. Really, really lovely stuff if you like the iodine/seaweed/sea-salt kind of smells and flavours. Truly unique.

Delightful tipple
Bunnahabhain is a delightful whisky and a good addition to the cupboard. It arrived earlier than expected and well packed. Free enamel mug was a real bonus, cheers and swell done guys.

Okay but, for me, not great.
Unfortunately I just didn't have the experience of other reviewers. Drunk the bottle but it didn't open up. I found it limited, doesn't have the depth of other offerings. This isn't a, bad whisky but, for me, is very very average. Disappointed that I don't get it :-(
