Sherry

A North Star Spirits bottling of 11 year old Bunnahabhain single malt, distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2020. It was drawn from a first-fill Oloroso sherry butt, which has imparted oodles of rich fruit and festive spice notes to the whisky. Just 630 bottles were produced of this Islay treat.
Rum-soaked dried fruit, toasted almonds, crystallised ginger.
Waves of caramel, melted chocolate and good sherry.
Ground cinnamon, orange peels, espresso and chocolate once again.

all the big bunna characteristics with a nice ABV, comparable to the CS offering on the official bottling
A rare bad pour from NSS. Weird, sulphury and altogether a bad representation of the Bunna spirit. No wonder it's not an official release.
