A well-sherried Bunnahabhain from the ever-awesome Adelphi. The single malt was distilled on Islay in 2009 and placed in a single first-fill oloroso sherry butt for the following decade. After it turned 10 years old, the whisky was independently bottled at cask strength, with an outturn of 695 bottles at 59.3% ABV.
This bottle was part of a private collection - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!
Cinnamon dusted baked apple, with runny salted toffee and a whiff of sea breeze.
Obvious sherry influence, with damson jam, more of that salted toffee, vanilla fudge and spicy oak.
Barley sugar, caramelised brown sugar and a dash of citrus.
