An intriguing Bunnahabhain single malt, bottled for La Maison du Whisky. Released in livery you'd be more accustomed to seeing used for Edradour, this heavily peated Bunnah was aged in a single hogshead for 10 years, from January 2007 to September 2017, before being bottled at cask strength. 360 bottles were produced.
Honey-roasted ham with grilled pineapple cutting through the salinity.
Richly malty, with waves of coastal smoke crashing around. Spicy at points, too. An exciting expression!
Ginger, caramel and burnt ends.
