Buffalo Trace is the flagship bourbon for the eponymous distillery made from corn, rye and malted barley. It’s aged in new oak barrels in historic old warehouses. The award-winning bourbon is batched from no more than 40 barrels at a time, and is aged on the middle floors of the distillery warehouses where the temperature fluctuation is the greatest. A top whiskey, with oodles of vanilla, barrel char and spicy complexity.
Spicy and sweet with caramel, creamy toffee eclairs, hints of cinnamon, rum spice and cereal sweetness.
Brown sugar, toffee apple, sweet oak, custard, oily espresso beans, a touch of chocolate-covered raisins and toasty wood.
Good length with sweet spices, cinnamon gum and toffee.

Solid. I am a big time convert to bourbon whisky, having come from years of drinking scotch and canadian whisky, I would not mind in the slightest if I never went back. Buffalo Trace is full of big flavor and a big cinnamon finish. It turns on the palate like lights at a night-time football game. I believe it is a great value and so delicious that newbies and seasoned drinkers alike will enjoy it.
Smooth excellent flavor. Always keep one in stock.
Feel short changed
Second review of Buffalo Trace. I am a believer. This is, so far, my favorite every day whisky. If I never drank any other whisky for the rest of my life, I would be okay with that. My best description of this spirit is, " the workhorse of American made Bourbons." This is an everyday drinkable Bourbon that never tire's the palette. Solidly dependable, always satisfying, I drink this on an everyday basis. One or two drams at bedtime and have not ever been disappointed. For the around 25.00 price tag, you cannot beat this as an American classic Bourbon. As stated in my first review, serve this to your closest friends and they will never feel slighted in even the smallest degree.
I am relatively new to whisky in general. I have avoided whisky in general since my youth, having had some bad experiences whilst hugging the porcelain god of drink. Having recently retired, though, I have found that I have a whole new appreciation for the spirit and I have begun to make world class whisky my new hobby. Having said that up front I must say that I find Bourbon to be my go to for an everyday drink at the end of a long day. Fine Irish single malt and a complex Scotch are reserved( for me at least) for good friends, relatives ,and special occasions. Unless, of course it is an occasional dram of Johnny Walker Red. For some reason I cannot define I just like that one, anytime. All that aside, this is after all supposed to be my opinion of Buffalo Trace Bourbon, Let me just say that I would serve this to a guest without reservation, knowing that whilst simple in it's flavors and subtleties, I cannot imagine that anyone would feel slighted that you didn't serve them your Top Shelf.
