Buffalo Trace is the flagship bourbon for the eponymous distillery made from corn, rye and malted barley. It’s aged in new oak barrels in historic old warehouses. The award-winning bourbon is batched from no more than 40 barrels at a time, and is aged on the middle floors of the distillery warehouses where the temperature fluctuation is the greatest. A top whiskey, with oodles of vanilla, barrel char and spicy complexity.
Spicy and sweet with caramel, creamy toffee eclairs, hints of cinnamon, rum spice and cereal sweetness.
Brown sugar, toffee apple, sweet oak, custard, oily espresso beans, a touch of chocolate-covered raisins and toasty wood.
Good length with sweet spices, cinnamon gum and toffee.

For the money this is truly an excellent bourbon! Soft, sweet and delicious
You'll not find a bourbon that does such a phenomenal job of balancing everything that bourbon should be. Starts out sweet, moves to spicy, then finishes with complex charred oak. Love it. I've tried many Bourbons over the years but I keep coming back to this one. It doesn't hurt that is a damn good price.
So far, I haven't found another whiskey that tastes anywhere near as good as Buffalo Trace for the price. I like it better than Basil Hayden or Woodford's. A superior bourbon at a great price.
In a proper whiskey tasting glass neat. Tastes and smells amazing.
This is the second bottle of BT that I have purchased thinking the first was a fluke,considering all the 4 and 5 star ratings this has gotten. Bottom line life is too short to be drinking mediocre stuff. Spend a couple more bucks and get Eagle Rare or Knob Creek.
