Bruichladdich
Port Charlotte PC12 - Oilenach Furachail 70cl Whisky
Customer Rating
“Smoked almonds on the palate, but enough fruitiness - blueberry comes through nicely on the finish for me as well as the nose - alongside it to make it as enjoyable as it is complex. Extremely hard to find - Gibraltar airport is where I found this! Hopefully they still sell it...”

Description
A 12-year-old peated single malt from Bruichladdich, Oileanach Furachail is the eighth release in the Islay distillery's Port Charlotte PC series. The name roughly translates as something like 'attentive islander'. This is a reference to Adam Hannett's apprenticeship under master distiller Jim McEwan from 2006, before taking on the role himself after McEwan's retirement in 2015.
