You see those 5 molecules, yeah? They are Phenol, O-Cresol, M-Cresol, P-Cresol, and Guaiacol. You may not have heard of them all before, but those little beauties go into producing the phenolic compounds in peated whisky!

‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains, blended malts, blends and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic-novel-style labels.
Bacon crisps develop into touches of BBQ char the longer it's in the glass. Sea salt, oatcakes and a very light touch of TCP. Sweetness arrives after a minute with lemon balm and blackberry.
Sweetness appears more readily here with notes of rock candy, white grape and double cream. Hot peat persists with a hint of cracked black pepper.
Continued oatcake with a sweet edge to it on the finish.
