Perfumed, spirity. Warmth, spice, pluming smoke. Calvados and coffee liqueur, oak at the back.
Rich, punchy, apple crumble, esters. Powerful peat smoke, salty butter.
Long, smoky, peat and spice.
I found it ashy, and younger tasty that I was expecting for the price.
This is an amazing scotch with a very long thick finish. If you love peat, butter, and a long finish..then this is your guy.
Aroma is rubber and campfire smoke, as promised. Palate is smoke with butterscotch, but a touch sour.
Found this at my local store and all around excellent islay, great smoke. Definitely worth it if you can find it.
No doubt that this is worth tasting.
