This is a rather rare bottling of Octomore Futures 5 Year Old, a very heavily peated single malt from Bruichladdich, distilled in February 2009 and bottled in August 2014.
This bottle was part of a private collection and may show signs of wear if of a certain vintage - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Rubber, vanilla, a hint of fresh white grapes, coastal air and fragrant smoke.
Palate
Swedish pepparkakor cookies, apple and thick waves of earthy peat.
Finish
Lingering tropical fruit, with smoky peat lasting on and on.
