6 year old Octomore single malt from the Bruichladdich distillery, independently bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company! The Octomore name is used by Bruichladdich for their most heavily-peated expressions, so if you love whiskies packing a potent phenolic punch, you are very much in luck!
Batch 1 is a release of 796 bottles.
‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blended malts and blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.
Nose: Seaweed and soot, with a light hint of raspberries tucked away underneath.
Palate: Thick waves of earthy smoke with a touch of oatcake. Black liquorice and sea salt.
Finish: Smoked cheese, toasted rye and green apple.
