A six-year-old offering of Bruichladdich's heavily peated Octomore single malt, independently bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company. The distillery dedicates just 10% of its annual production to making Octomore, so an indie bottling like this is a pretty special find!

That Boutique-y Whisky Company bottles limited edition whiskies from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.

Nose

Dark notes of black cherry and cocoa bring suggestions of Black Forest gateaux, with sooty smoke, anise, and salted caramel.

Palate

Juicy plums and plump sultanas welcome the way for hefty helpings of dense peat smoke and oily pipe tobacco.

Finish

Salted liquorice, hearty smoke, and fiery cracked black pepper linger.
