Bruichladdich
Octomore 09.1 5 Year Old - Dialogos 70cl Whisky
Description
An enjoyably punchy and heavily peated single malt from Bruichladdich's Octomore range. Octomore 09.1 sets out to challenge the idea that older means better when it comes to whisky, and it does so by offering up a 5-year-old Islay whisky weighing in at 156 PPM, matured in ex-American whiskey casks. Pleasingly, there's an exact breakdown of where those casks came from: 51% Jim Beam, 26% Jack Daniel's, 15% Clermont, and 8% Old Grand-Dad casks.
This bottle was part of a private collection and may show signs of wear if of a certain vintage - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!
