Single Malt
Scotland
29 Nov 2007
Bourbon
Peaty single malt from Bruichladdich here, released under the Lochindaal name (this is the name Bruichladdich uses for heavily peated whisky - but not quite heavily peated as Octomore). This one was matured for 12 years before Chorlton Whisky bottled it up at cask stength with an outturn of 241 bottles. There's a couple people having a chat on the label, while picking fruit, I think. Might be mangoes.
Sea spray and mixed peels, with a hint of petrichor too.
Toasted oak and BBQ pineapple, plus seaweed continuing the coastal theme.
Just a hint of baked earth and peppercorn lasts.
