Bourbon
A smoky single malt from the Bruichladdich Distillery on Islay, released under one of its lesser-used names, Lochindaal. It was distilled in September 2009, and aged in a single cask for 11 years, until it was eventually bottled in October 2020. 231 bottles were released by The Single Cask.
Dusty oak and camphor, with a hint of hay underneath.
Subtly fruiter on the palate with tangy lemon, but peat and soft oak take the spotlight here.
Ash, honey, and toasted barley.
