From the independent Auld Goonsy's Malt range comes this glorious single malt from Bruichladdich, distilled under the Lochindaal name – indicating a medium level of peat. Distilled in December 2010, the whisky was left to rest for a decade in a first-fill bourbon barrel, before bottling in June 2021. A total of 270 bottles were drawn from this single cask.
Smouldering sawdust and sea breeze waft beside chocolate and salted vanilla.
Peppery spice and oily smoke, a touch medicinal with a sweet balance of green apple, apricot, and oaky vanilla.
Lingering whisps of earthy iodine, floral honey, and a touch of citrus zest.
