Bruichladdich
Scotland
Single Malt

This single malt from Bruichladdich was distilled in 1984 and matured in 'dumpy' squat bourbon hogsheads for 23 years. The casks proffered greater wood contact and have imparted a golden hue to the whisky, thus the name Golder Still.

I had the pleasure of sampling two bottles in the last three years and am saddened that it is no longer available.
I found a bottle of this on Vancouver Island and it's amazing! Very powerful and bold scotch! Definitely a hidden treasure.
