Bruichladdich
Scotland
Single Malt

Part of the Bruichladdich First Growth series, but, curiously, not technically a first growth. Pomerol is one appellation that does not have designations like Premier Cru. Nonetheless, the top Pomerol wines (Le Pin, Pétrus, for example) command high prices and are world-renowned. This 16-year-old single malt was finished in Chateau Lafleur barrels and marks the sixth part of the series: Cuvée F.
Medium body. Elegant and lush with notes of stone fruits, raspberry, strawberry. Oily wood, dry ropes.
Big, clean. Stemmy, moist grass. Forest fruits, estery, tannins.
Long, herbal, green pepper, fennel, gentle sweetness.
