Single Malt
Scotland
1 Jan 1985

This is the fourth edition in Bruichladdich's DNA series. Made using some of the very best stock from the distillery, this single malt was distilled in 1985 and aged for 27 years before bottling. Delicious.
This bottle was part of a private collection - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!
Sweet malt and hints of figs. Sultanas, orange rind and a touch of walnut develop. A little toasted oak, sea air and tropical fruit.
Oaky, toasty nose with soft sherry and fruit. Guava and cantaloupe, a little caramel and barley wine.
Long, spicy finish with oak and hints of dried apricot.
