Another release from Bruichladdich's much-loved Black Art series, which always result in delicious, mysterious single malt! These expression are made with whiskies drawn from a secret selection of casks known only to Bruichladdich's head distiller Adam Hannett. What we do know is Black Art 8.1 is a 1994 vintage 26 year old expression, that it's an unpeated whisky, and 12,000 bottles were produced.
Pear, maple syrup, cigar box, slightly nutty hints of barley and a touch of new leather.
Salted caramel, citrus peels, toasted coconut, vanilla and Brazil nuts.
Chocolate and sultana, with a slice of coffee cake too.
