    Bruichladdich 23 Year Old 1990 - Black Art 4.1

The fourth release of the legendary Bruichladdich Black Art whisky. With the recipe a mystery to everyone apart from the creator, it's still a cryptic enigma.

    Just fabulous

I don't understand the reviewer who gave this a half star. I drink a lot of aged sherried whiskies including the A'Bunadh, Bunnahabhain 18, Glenlivet Nadurra Oloroso, Glendronachs. The Black Art knocked my socks off when I first tasted it and The shopkeeper gave it to me blind and asked me to guess the price. I said £200 and he said £199. I didn't hesitate. It's that good. I don't recall ever having a whisky this good before. It rewards careful study. A long and lovely evening awaits.

    I don't think so...

I purchased a bottle of Bruichladdich, Black Arts, last week and thought I would forward my thoughts for the next sucker, I mean customer, who is looking for something really special. “Black Arts” tastes exactly the same as the Bruichladdich 10yr I bought a few years ago, for $65. I suspect it is, in-fact, the very same bottle, with a different label. There is some pretty good scotch out there for this price point, and people would be well served, who are willing to spill this kind of cash, to spend it on some other brand. It’s descent scotch, but for the price, I will forever feel like a fool every time I take a sip of it. I have 4 other bottles which are far superior, that cost nearly half the price. The only thing unique about this bottle is the descriptor on the Bruichladdich website, which waxes poetically about every tasting note under the sun, completely unrelated to the actual product. I am very disappointed to say the least…

    Amazing

Wonderful..... For this price range it far exceeds the competitors. Its the best bottle in my cabinet for sure.
