Bruichladdich 30 Year Old 1986 - The Magnificent Seven
30-year-old single malt from Islay's Bruichladdich distillery, released as part of the Rare Cask Series. It was distilled in 1986 and initially aged in a host of oloroso sherry butts before it was transferred to a selection of Pedro Ximenéz butts from winemaker Jan Pettersen at Bodega Fernando de Castilla in 2012 by former Master Distiller Jim McEwan in 2012. The Magnificent Seven was drawn from just seven casks, producing 4,200 bottles.
