A 32 year old bottling from the Bruichladdich distillery, this single malt was distilled in 1970 and has been solely matured in first fill American hogsheads and exudes some lovely ripe orchard fruit notes with honeyed sweetness.
This bottle was part of a private collection - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!
Rich and full. Boiled sweets, toffee, rubbed petals. Bramley apple, bruised pear. Peppermint, marmalade, lemon zest, Limoncello.
Great body, malted barley, oily and nutty. Thick honey, fruit.
Fruity and long, great balance.

I bought one at the distillery in 2001 as it was the year of my birth. Will write in my will to be opened and drank at my funeral
I have an unopened bottle of this fine malt. I am sure that the price as more than trippled since its discontinuation. I wonder how much is such a rare find worth? Email me at jigpig1@gmail.com
