Oooh la la. A superb Bruichladdich matured in wine barrels from one of the greatest wineries in the world: Chateau Haut-Brion from Pessac-Léognan! This single malt was released as part of Bruichladdich's series of First Growth Bordeaux finished whiskies. This is the fourth in the series, Cuvée D.

Refined, subtlety. Fresh, green character. Zesty orange, pink grapefruit, dried peels. Old rope.
Full and thick. Silken. Winter spice, herbal, plenty of zesty orange.
Long, oaked. Herbal, peppery.
