An indie Bruichladdich, bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company. This one has aged for 15 years, and was bottled at 50.5% ABV. The chap on the label looks to be doing pretty well at The Generation Game, though perhaps a knowledge of Bruichladdich bottling names might help with memorising all those seemingly random items...
Batch 12 is a release of 89 bottles.
‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains, blended malts, blends and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic-novel-style labels.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Plum, gingerbread, almond, cedar, treacle.
Palate
Chocolate tart, honey-drenched apple, buttery malt and a hint of savoury oak warmth.
Finish
Soft hints of rye crackers balanced by fried banana and malt loaf.
