Bruichladdich 15 Year Old 2005 - Chorlton Whisky
Independently bottled unpeated single malt from the Bruichladdich Distillery on Islay, distilled back in 2005. It was left to age in a single bourbon barrel for 15 years before being bottled by Chorlton Whisky, with an outturn of only 146 bottles. The labels feature an ostentation of peacocks, hanging out, pecking at things. Y'know, peacock stuff.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Softly earthy, though with plenty of vanilla and white chocolate notes to back it up.
Palate
Milky tea, subtly savoury malt, freshly cut oak, a pinch of mint leaf.
Finish
Lingering barley sugar sweetness.
