15 year old single malt from Islay's Bruichladdich Distillery, which has been independently bottled by The Red Cask Co.! This one was distilled in 2005, and fully matured in a first-fill sherry hogshead, imparting plenty of delicious dried fruit and festive spice notes. 295 bottles were produced.
Dried cherry, cigar box, Christmas cake, and liquorice.
Dark chocolate, cinnamon, subtle earthy barley, sultana, and cassia.
A touch of mint chocolate pokes out from the dried fruit richness.
