Tasting Note by The Producer

Nose

Opens beautifully on a fruity mellow oak combination underpinned by the sweetness of unpeated barley with just a drift of marine freshness from its time maturing on the Coast of Heaven. At this age it’s that Islay DNA that frames the beautiful fruity overture from the Banyuls cask.

Palate

The flavour combinations are as one. After 12 years of seasonal movement within the cradle of oak they are transformed into a spirit that is truly unique. Splendidly fresh & succulent the malt extract provides a toffee sweetness that works beautifully with the wine influence to produce an outstanding spirit.
