Single Malt
You know how you love Bruichladdich single malt, yeah? We agree with you. It's excellent. That's why we've gone ahead and bottled a stunning 12 year old Bruichladdich which has been matured in a first-fill Sherry hogshead from June 2002 to November 2014 for our Single Cask Series. Glad we're on the same page.
Not only does this bottle house the cracking Islay whisky, stopping it from floating away into the ether, this bottle comes presented with an innovative, air-tight glass closure, stopping the chance of cork taint affecting its flavour as it would a bottle of wine. Nifty, eh? Not only that, they're also just generally pretty cool looking. Win-win.
These glass closures are experimental and we're looking for feedback on them - head over to our blog to leave your comments!
A release of 86 bottles.
Powerful notes of chewy raisin, burnt sugar, campfire embers and chocolate-covered peanuts. Touches of tobacco deeper within, revealing herbal undertones. A drop of water will bring out its perfumed, malty core.
Gloriously oily and mouth-coating, with intense but balanced notes of rum-soaked raisin and charred oak. A touch of leafy, forest air.
Lasting oak and tingling clove spices on the finish.
A big, bold Bruichladdich. Scrumptious.
