Bruichladdich

The very first 10-year-old single malt to be wholly distilled, aged, and bottled following Bruichladdich's resurrection in 2001. A true milestone bottling, and a splendid collectible.

Great stuff! Young, fresh, but mellow. Spicy with a kick, but gentle. I love it!
A nice young pup that. Smokey flavour but unpeated and the smoke is gentler than a Talisker and not at all medicinal.
The nose is herbal, smokey, and a bit of bile. I can see how some would equate it to baby vomit, but not in a bad way. IMHO it's easy to drink and enjoy.
First pure Islay malt purchased. Was hesitant but due to unpeated distilling I bought and tried it. Floral and brine but sweet and thoroughly enjoyable. No note of baby vomit that someone mentioned. Had it neat and with water. Both ways were very inspiring to continue with Bruichladdich product
Very balanced, great whisky. Easily 90+/100
