The very first 10-year-old single malt to be wholly distilled, aged, and bottled following Bruichladdich's resurrection in 2001. A true milestone bottling, and a splendid collectible.
This bottle was part of a private collection - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!

Just get it doon ur neck.
Oh dear, vomit and sawdust. Not very nice.
I get what the person that didn't like this is talking about. I can't say it's exactly vomit, but there is a very unpleasant note somewhere between the inside of a well-worn boot and bile that's hovering around the maritime breeze (a surprise to me, didn't expect that from unpeated) and the fresher, rooty smell. It's just every second or third whiff is like I accidentally picked up the bartender's rag - off-putting and impossible to ignore. It's not all bad though, I get a strong hint of a specific candy (Sisu drops, tarry and sweet but mentholishly fresh candy sold in Finland, probably a fun experience for any fan of strong smoke and peat), tinned pineapple and leather that's a little less sweaty than the one I described above. A fair dram for this price, nothing stellar but at least the nose has more detail than a 15yo Glenfiddich. The aftertaste is a little hollow, mouth feels of whisky rather than tastes of it.
Very nice balance and sophisticated layers. Vomit??? Really???
Amazing especially for the price! Complex, Smooth, and Delicious! Causes your senses to explode!
