Single Malt
Bruichladdich
The very first 10-year-old single malt to be wholly distilled, aged, and bottled following Bruichladdich's resurrection in 2001. A true milestone bottling, and a splendid collectible.
This bottle was part of a private collection - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!
I've been a bourbon man for a while, but The Laddie Ten blew my socks off. Fantastic. The finish hangs on in a delightful way. I'm no fancy pants critic, but I've spent way more money on way less awesome booze than this.
Not as over the top as lavavulin or Laphoraig, but a nice more delicate smoke. However, as this is supposed to be unpeated, I am still not sure where the smoky flavour comes from. It is a great scotch at a good price.
Who the hell do you think you are by telling people that sophistication can be achieve by buying an expensive bottle and consume it with all your "sophisticated" friends. When I read this kind of feedback (secondary education) I sense inadequacy the feeling of proving to people their self worth. Scotch is here for all of us to enjoy, show some respect and by the way anytime you want to compare assets you let me know. I think one of my watch is worth more than your car combine. And you "vomit" stay away from single malt and stop whining and buy yourself a cheap chardonnay
first I think you spent to much time praising yourself that you didn't realized that you became a FREAK. I like the title of your review, Secondary Education but I'd like to educate you on becoming a gentleman. don't be an arrogant freak and enjoying a bottle of scotch doesn't mean a $460,000 Macallan Lalique it's about relaxing and having an intelligent conversation.
Good whiskey all around kind of reminded me of Frog Morton's Cellar Pipe Tobacco !
