Description

A cask strength single malt from Broken Bones, slowly double-distilled in pot stills and matured in Slovenian and American oak casks. It’s bottled at 57% ABV, with no added colour or chill filtration. There’s more to Slovenian drinks than excellent wine, you know.

Nose

Delicate malted barley, freshly cut grass and meadow flowers, followed by rhubarb tart, and earthy root vegetables.

Palate

Spiced caramel, honey and toffee apple, with nougat, liquorice and a little tobacco. Clove, caraway and pepper build beneath the sweetness.

Finish

Gentle oak, dark roasted malt, coffee, and lingering maple syrup.
