J. Black’s Double Barrel Bottling Note

From Bristol Distilling Co. comes J. Black’s Double Barrel Whiskey. Note the 'e' in 'Whiskey' there – that's very important. Y'see, the team got their hands on an American whiskey from Lawrenceburg, Indiana and rebarreled in it Bristol, giving it some extra maturation in new 90-litre charred oak barrels. Hence the American whiskey spelling. As they say, it was "born in the USA, raised in Bristol".

J. Black’s Double Barrel Whiskey Reviews

Great whisky

Interesting idea, whiskey started off in USA and finished in Bristol here in the UK. Some influences from both - well worth trying if you find any of that interesting!
