A German malt whisky from Ziegler in Freudenberg. The distillery’s first 10-year-old expression was finished in Ziegler’s Old Plum brandy casks. Very interesting stuff.
Toffee apples, chocolate pudding, a slight grassiness, and lots of sticky dried fruit.
Thick-cut marmalade combined with nuts, nutmeg, cinnamon, and stone fruit.
Stewed plum and ginger.
