Description

Marvellous stuff from Braeval, this single malt matured for 23 years, and did you know there are only nine bottles of it? It's just the sort of thing that Forgotten Gems would bottle up. Which they did. Right here. This is it.

Nose

Sugar-dusted shortbread and toasted, buttered sourdough are backed by creamy, nutty blanched almonds.

Palate

Sticky ginger cake and runny toffee lead to warmer notes of root ginger and dried chilli before waves of soft stone fruit and white chocolate buttons arrive.

Finish

Banana bread, earthy vanilla, and a touch of savoury spice.
