Braeval 13 Year Old 2009 (cask 804907) - Infrequent Flyers (Alistair Walker)

A single malt Scotch distilled at Braeval in 2009. It then matured in a single recioto della valpolicella red wine hogshead for 13 years, where it gathered plenty of plummy red wine notes, before it was bottled in 2022 for the Alistair Walker Infrequent Flyer range. An outturn of 318 bottles of this single cask Speysider, non-chill filtered and with natural colour.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose

Blackberry jam, hawthorn tea, cacao nibs, and a touch of roasted almond.

Palate

Ripe cherries, plum crumble, dark chocolate, and a touch of spicy tobacco.

Finish

Peppery spice builds, with juicy berry notes lingering.
