Royal Brackla 8 Year Old 2014 (cask 9599) - The Cooper's Choice (The Vintage Malt Whisky Co.)
A Port-finished Highland single malt from Royal Brackla! Distilled in 2014, it first rested in American oak before it was finished in the aforementioned Port cask, after which it was bottled up at eight years old by The Vintage Malt Whisky Co. A limited 360 bottles were released at 55.5% ABV for The Cooper's Choice Series, packed full of red fruit and chocolate.

Nose
Black pepper, chocolate raisins, stewed cherry, and honeyed oak.
Palate
Chocolate-coated ginger, almond butter, and strawberry jam on buttered toast.
Finish
Juicy sultana, red grape, and a dusting of cocoa.
