Single malt from the Royal Brackla distillery, independently bottled by the excellent chaps at Gordon & MacPhail. This was distilled in 1998 and aged until 2015, when it was bottled at 46% ABV for the Connoisseurs Choice range.
Raisins, sponge cakes with plenty of icing, apricot. Slightly nutty.
Creamy, loads of malt and caramel notes. Sharp apple and cut grass.
Some allspice and black pepper.
