Description

A glorious Highland single malt from Royal Brackla! Matured for 18 years, this whisky is then finished in Palo Cortado sherry casks. Brimming with creamy vanilla and spice, this is an opulent, fruity sipper – worthy of the 'royal' warrant which was bestowed upon the distillery in 1833 by King William IV!

Nose

Spiced biscuits, vanilla cream, and a whiff of orange zest.

Palate

Soft peaches and plums, juicy raisins, and soaked sultanas combine with sweet, cakey spice and hints of bitter chocolate.

Finish

Apricot and oak with sweet, fruity zest and creamy barley.

Great Sherry Cask Finish

Very interesting Palo Cortado finish, dryer than some of the sweeter sherry cask finishes, giving a delicious, rounded finish!
