This expression from Royal Brackla was distilled in 2008 and then left to age in Oloroso sherry casks for 12 years. It was then bottled at 47.5% ABV by Càrn Mòr in 2020, for the Strictly Limited range. Only 912 bottles of this fruity single malt were released.
Hints of golden syrup, stem ginger and a little vanilla essence join aromas of sultanas and fresh apple blossom.
Through notes of marmalade, barley sugar and citrus peel comes more dried fruit and caramel.
Subtle cedar and honey linger.
