Royal Brackla 12 Year Old 2007 (cask CM255) - The Golden Cask (House of Macduff)

A 12 year old single malt Scotch whisky from the Royal Brackla Distillery in Speyside, independently bottled by the House of Macduff. This one was aged in a bourbon cask, filled in 2007 and cracked open a dozen years later in 2020, when it was bottled up at cask strength, producing just 278 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose

Earthy vanilla and sweet citrus, with a touch of balsa wood in the background.

Palate

Toasted marshmallow, maple syrup, red chilli flake and banana fritters.

Finish

Subtle forest floor spiciness.
