Description
From Ardgowan’s single cask Clydebuilt series comes this elegant Royal Brackla 2012, matured in a single bourbon hogshead and closely overseen by whisky maker Laura Davies. The result is a whisky that perfectly balances the distillery’s fruity, floral Highland style with the sweet vanilla and spice of American oak. Bottled at cask strength, 52.9% ABV, non-chill filtered and with no added colour, it’s a corker. Just 290 bottles were drawn from the cask.

Nose
Ripe peaches, nutmeg, and soft heather honey.
Palate
Lemongrass, crisp green apple, and creamy vanilla pod.
Finish
Long and clean, with a lasting orchard fruit glow.
