Tempest is a very special release from Bowmore, it’s a cask strength malt made by vatting first-fill bourbon matured whisky. Very rich and complex.

First batch is a most delicious and well balanced whisky. Very different from 2nd and 3rd. The 1st has just the right peat and fruit with a good long aftertaste. Well done!
Although you would expect something else when drinking an islay dram, more peat etc. this bottle gives me shivers. What a pleasant experience wich starts at smelling the delicious vapours coming out pouring some. For the moment one of my favourites!

...though i'm not a really big fan of Bowmore! There are a lot better Whiskys from Islay like: Ardbeg,Caol Ila,Lagavulin etc.!!!
..but this one i like!
